Engagement with Stylists:

  1. Users have the opportunity to engage with stylists for personalized fashion advice. These stylists are experts in their respective style personas and provide services that vary based on their unique offerings.

Agreements with Stylists:

  1. Each stylist engagement will be governed by a separate agreement, detailing the scope of services, fees (if any beyond the services), and terms specific to that stylist's offerings. These agreements complement, and do not supersede, the overarching Terms and Conditions of the Factian platform.

Service Variability:

  1. The nature and cost of services provided by stylists may vary. Factian aims to provide a transparent description of each stylist’s services, including any additional fees, on our platform.

User Responsibility:

  1. It is the user’s responsibility to review and agree to the terms of service with each stylist before proceeding with consultations or advice sessions. Users are encouraged to communicate their expectations clearly to ensure a fulfilling styling experience.

Stylist Responsibility:

  1. Stylists are independent contractors who are responsible for delivering their services in accordance with their agreement with the user and Factian’s standards. They commit to upholding Factian’s values of sustainability and personalized service.

Cancellation Policy for Stylist Services:

  1. Stylists reserve the right to reschedule a session with at least 24 hours of prior notice - communicated to the customer via email.
  2. Customers can cancel sessions up to 1hr before the scheduled start time without communication to the stylists. If the customer does not show up to the scheduled appointment with stylists, they are entitled to a 50% partial refund of the session cost. 
  3. If stylists do not turn up to the session for any reason, the customer is entitled to a full refund for the service cost.

Feedback and Dispute Resolution:

  1. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences with stylists. In the event of a dispute, Factian will facilitate resolution efforts based on the terms outlined in the stylist service agreement.

    Intellectual Property:

    1. All intellectual property associated with Factian, including trademarks, logos, and website content, is owned by Factian and may not be used without permission.

    Liability and Disclaimers:

    1. Factian does not take liability for issues related to clothing fit, style preferences, and potential allergic reactions. Please carefully review items before wearing them.

    Indemnification:

    1. By using Factian's service, you agree to indemnify and hold Factian harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the service.

    Compliance with Laws:

    1. You are responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations when using Factian's service, including those related to copyright and intellectual property.

    Affiliate Marketing

    1. Factian participates in affiliate marketing programs, which means we may earn commissions from purchases made through links on our platform. These commissions help support our services and allow us to continue offering personalized styling experiences. While we strive to recommend high-quality and sustainable brands, our promotion of particular brands may be influenced by these affiliate relationships. However, our stylists’ recommendations are always guided by your preferences and style needs.

    Termination of Service:

As such, the return policies are managed by the individual brands from which the items are purchased. Typically, you can return items within the brand's specified return window, provided they meet the brand's criteria (such as being unworn, unwashed, and with tags attached). Factian is here to assist if you have any questions, but all returns are handled by the brands themselves.

    Are the clothes included in the price of the stylist services?

    No, the price of the stylist services does not include the cost of the clothes. Factian stylists will recommend pieces from various brands based on your style and preferences, but any items you choose to purchase will be at an additional cost. The cost of clothing is managed directly by the brands, and any purchases you make will be processed through them, not through Factian.
