How it works

Factian is a subscription-based clothing rental service. We offer customers a fresh wardrobe every month. Through repair, recycling, and re-renting, we give fashion items a second life, reducing the environmental impact of fast fashion.

Do I need to wash my clothes when I return them?

No need to wash any of the clothes when you return them, the only thing you need to do is put all the clothing items in the wardrobe box of the past month

Can I rent particular pieces of my wardrobe for longer and return everything else?

You must return all the items when you are not going to purchase them. If you'd like to extend your rental period please let one of the team know and we will help you keep your clothes for another month or buy them!

What if I want to buy something?

We understand the attachment we can develop with our favorite pieces. That's why we provide exclusive pricing for our members, offering discounts of up to 50% off the retail price. To view the member price for each rental item, you can visit our website, use our app. If there's an item you'd like to purchase, simply set it aside while returning the rest of your rental items. Any items you decide to keep will be charged to your credit card on file.

What if a piece gets damaged?

We understand that wear and tear can happen. However, if items are returned with damages beyond normal use, charges may apply. We assess each returned box and its items on a case-by-case basis. Here's a breakdown of potential charges based on the severity of the damage:

1. Minor Stains or Wear: No charge. We understand that minor incidents can happen, and we won't penalize you for them.

2. Minor Damages (e.g., small stitching issues, slight fabric pulls, missing buttons, etc.): £5 charge. This covers the cost of minor repairs to ensure the item is in perfect condition for the next customer.

3. Severe Damages (e.g., large rips, burns, or permanent stains): £15 charge. These damages require more extensive repairs or replacements.
